my sweet and precious little fuzzy friend. i love you. thank you for being such a unique little kitty. i loved your personality. you are in a better place now, feeling better. i love you forever. you are irreplaceable, and always in my heart.
isabellie was a truly unique cat. it was like she was meant to come to us....about a month before we "adopted" her, my sister had randomly said, "i want a gray cat with white paws."..and then a month later there she was. she came to us from my sister, who found her in a dumpster. she feasted on chicken wings that night. she quickly worked her way into my familys hearts.
i have many favorite memories of her. chasing around my ankles when i wore a certain pair of pj pants. she liked potato chips and cheerios. it was funny when eating from a bowl at the table, she'd rest upon your arm. and not move even while lifting a spoon to your mouth. she knew the sound of the cheerios hitting the bowl. the opening of a can of food, whether hers or annies/baileys. she was there, waiting for dinner. sitting on the bottom shelf of the towel rack in the bathroom. sitting on the bath mat while i took a bath. waiting outside the bathroom door in the a.m. to go downstairs. i loved our conversations. we had a good many over the years, meow, meow, mrow. and a random hmmmm??!. she gave the best back massage with her little paws. and loved to plop herself right on your chest, right in front of that book. she loved to sit amongst a roll of wrapping paper, right in the middle, prohibiting any gift wrapping to be done. turning somersaults chasing a ball of paper. getting "drunk" from a catnip toy. sitting on my lap as i type, esp. resting on my arm making it very hard to type at all. watching the mouse move across the screen. totally relaxed flat on her back on summer days. roaming the backyard, her favorite place, often sneaking out at doggy potty times. only having one front tooth. being the best cuddler. snuggling with her best buds, bailey and then later on annie. sprinting and racing around the house. and most of all, being my best buddy. truly. she was not perfect, in many ways, but she was to me. and will be in my heart forever. i love you belle.
