i did not sign up for the princess race. remember i had wanted to do so by december 1 to have my name on my bib? well. i had that in my mind. i really thought i would have signed up. but i did not. i just didn't have the 150+taxes and fees to pay for a race right now. (i could have signed up for $10 or $20 less, but those price deadlines have passed, and i was just not sure of any race plans at those times)
it's not ruled out yet, but i have some other things to take care of first, such as fun things like christmas gifts, and not fun things like bills and food and gas, before i can allow myself to pay for that race. as i said before, disney races aren't cheap. it makes me a little mad, because the price is high because it is disney. so ridiculous. yet i am sucked into the draw. that is ridiculous too. but it is so fun, and it is a great time out there on the course.....
anyway, it is still on my mind, even more now b/c i think this is the year i HAVE to go for that coast to coast medal. disneyland just put out their info for the half in september, and holy price increase. it's a now or never sort of thing, it seems the prices only get higher each year! as with the princess and all other races, there are price increments. 3 to be exact. the earlier you sign up, the less you pay. for disneyland half, there is a difference of $30.00 between the first deadline to sign up and the last. i can't even print the prices on here. i might make the computer crash. you'll have to go look it up for yourself if you are curious. let's just say, it makes the princess look cheap.
so ok, cheerleaders, if you wanna come to disneyland, i plan to be there labor day weekend 2012. and i also plan to be signed up by the "first price"deadline of february 26 (happy birthday, kim! also coincidentally, the day of the princess), there is no way i am paying more than that!
i just need to get my ducks in a row. keep in shape (i want an elliptical to strengthen my thighs, i felt them today!), try to eat healthy enough, take my vitamins, stick to a training plan, and find those seeds to plant that money tree. easy peasy.
