some short videos from the princess half marathon!
the start is always exciting! each corral (there were 8) gets their own sendoff with a word from the fairy godmother and with fireworks! This was my group, corral a! The first bunch out!
this is just before the 5k mark! watch out for speed bumps!
main street is always fun! it's what you train for, and such a great feeling!

mile 7, the halfway point, "stronger" by kelly clarkson was playing throughout the whole mile. i will forever associate this song with this race. it was a great song to push some energy to keep us going. everytime i hear it on the radio, i feel the rush of energy that you get with the princess half and am right back there at mile 7.
